I'm using what I have and looking forward to getting outside and working in the garden soon. So I'm going to need a sign. 

A while back I ruined a potting shed sign I bought from Decor Steals, it was one of my favorites.

Today I'm doing a little sprucing around the yard starting with the outdoor shed. 
If I'm being truthful I'd really like to repair the rotting wood and paint the shed but that's a huge job and I have to get the Mr. onboard first. 
So for now I'm giving my shed a quick little makeover starting with some vintage windows I had hung on the side.

It's garden time in our area! Finally! 
Truth be told I'm not great with plants but I have been known to grow a nice flower garden.

I love using rusty tubs and found junk items in my garden and today's project is no different...

Then when I saw different configurations for herb gardens on Pinterest, I realized had just the supplies I needed!
Three terra cotta pots in 3 different sizes were almost all I needed to create a gorgeous herb garden for my deck!

I saw the cutest wooden owl stakes while perusing Pinterest recently and just had to give it a try! If you're a Pinterest lover please follow along! 
The owls I saw were actually made from wood scraps and weren't painted at all.

It's that time of year again! When the shops are full of flowers and I can't wait to get some planted in my yard. 
A funny story about these flowers... a friend posted a number to text to Lowes for a special one day coupon the other day, so I did and I won! I won a $100 coupon to Lowes so I went there and picked up all these beautiful flowers for my garden. 

This year my garden has challenges, we have a new dog. A large yellow lab puppy named Finn. So far this season he's chewed up a couple deck pillows and dragged more than a few of my decorative items into the mud. It is for this reason that I need to figure out how to protect my new plants this year.

I saw the cutest birdhouse made from a terra cotta pot at a flower shop. I didn't have a terra cotta pot available right now so I'm improvising and using an easy to find, small galvanized bucket for this project.

For a long time now I've been repurposing cabinet doors. At one time I had the chance to collect all the cabinet doors I wanted from a store that was going out of business. 

It's garden time... and that means grabbing every junky thing I can find and filling it with flowers. 

Today's project began with an amazing roadside find while on my morning walk. 
I've found some of my best treasures while on walks around my neighborhood. 
This find was very unusual and I knew just what I was going to do with it!
