It's Summertime again and making red, white, and blue decorations for the Fourth is my favorite craft.
It is time for Ten on the 10th and our theme is Fourth of July!
This patriotic project began with leftover 1" x 1" oak trim pieces and little fabric flags like the ones the politicians hand out at parades.🇺🇸
You can find flags like this at the Dollar Tree.
First, I cut the wood into blocks the length of the flags, about 6".

Next, I removed the flag from the stick and wrapped it around three sides of the wooden block.
I attached the flags to the blocks with
Matte Mod Podge, first under the flag and then on top.
When the Mod Podge dried I trimmed any overhanging flag fabric with scissors.
