These large bells came from the thrift store but needed a little somethin' somethin' to make them even better! 
The bells were already painted brown and if yours are not, this project can easily start with a can of brown spray paint.

Ah, Christmas church fairs, you've gotta love them! 
We have a church fair around here every Christmas and they have the BEST white elephant sale. 
Every year I find something I just love and this year I got lucky again. 
This time it took almost no time to turn this treasure into an easy to create Christmas sign with bells.

I had all the supplies at home and the ones I didn't came from the dollar store.

If anyone were to tell me that brass was making a comeback, let alone that I'd be trying to recreate the look of brass, I'd tell you you were crazy! 
Brass has never been one of my favorite finishes. That being said, the brass color you can make yourself is gorgeous! 
I'm the guy that was painting everything flat black not too long ago and now I'm reproducing the look of vintage bells and adding it to my home decor.

Today I made a fun and interesting wind chime to hang on my fence for cheap!

Good Morning Friends! Let me just start out by letting you know that I've done this project before... ten years ago!  
I made recycled boiled wool Christmas trees and sold a ton of them at the local craft fairs.  
Those green wool trees with their clothespin trunks were very popular! 
This year I inherited new recycled wool fabric and I'm making more stuffed Christmas trees this with a little twist!

Have you seen the large "brass" bells in the Target Dollar Spot? They were  $5 and had a great large jute hanger!
Problem was... the color was all wrong! The "brass" wasn't even a good gold color. 
But I bought the bell and brought it home and fixed the color.

Sometimes a little spray paint can make all the difference between tossing something and loving it! 
This weekend I was cleaning up summer on the deck when I ran across a lantern I bought earlier in the year. 
The lantern was rusty (and not in a good way), the frosted glass was damaged, and it looked like heck! 
Until I grabbed my favorite spray paint and performed a Christmas miracle!
